Bruno Dias worked with computers in the corporate world for 20 years, before setting sail an entirely different direction. He combined his artistic and technical skills with his interests in history and culture to start making globes in New Jersey the old-fashioned way.

MOVA’s spinning globes were invented by Bill French in his Cardiff-by-the-Sea basement near San Diego, California.

Replogle Globes

Luther Replogle started making globes in his Chicago apartment in 1930. Since then, the company has expanded a little, into a 55,000 square foot facility outside of Chicago, where artisans work on Replogle’s wide range of globes, from inflatable globes for less than $10 to heirloom floor globes for more than $10,000.
